Modernist Home
This huge Victorian family home in Hampstead restores historic aspects that had been destroyed by previous owners while also incorporating a reimagined modern interior and extension.
The living room is in the heart of the home, and its frame has been modified to include large and high openings that lead to other rooms, notably the library pictured below.
Leading from the living room is a walnut-lined library with a blend of vintage and bespoke furnishings and an inset fireplace lined with Welsh slate.
An office with a large openable picture window framing the garden is located on the upper level of the extension on the first floor. To link to the space below, maple was used once more.
Sophisticated House
In this contemporary London residence, architectural elements and dark colours are combined with traces of 1970s glamour.
Original details such as the wooden window shutters and elegant wrought-iron staircase have been delicately juxtaposed with Modernist-inspired bespoke items like the industrial steel bookcases in the study and the marble fireplace in the new living room.
