Studio Kompa
Jean-Pierre Aldebert and Jean-Philippe Passot created Studio Kompa 30 years ago.
The idea began when they joined the Wilmotte agency after graduating from the Parisian design schools Boulle and Camondo, respectively. By welcoming Caroline Layrac, a government-accredited architect, Studio Kompa is naturally opening itself up to architecture. The end result is a high performing mix of know- how and sensitivity.

A restructuration of a 350m² town house in Paris for a collector. The project has a integration into the architecture of works of art made to measure for the space.

PARIS XVI Project
A 240m restructuration apartment in a city duplex located in Paris.
The project gives way to the creation of custom-made furniture and a terrace.
GRASSE Project
Renovation of a 19th century villa of 650sqm located in Grasse, Côtes d’Azur. The mission was to do the restructuration for external and internal architecture, including creation of custom furniture and decorative elements.

NORMANDY HOUSE
A new project construction in the middle of a clearing in a wooded site on the edge of a cliff with the use of traditional materials.
A discreet door opens onto a real Japanese cabinet facing east, on the side of the rising sun. The view, through the large porthole, over the garden decorated with mossy rocks and bamboos accentuates the serenity of the place. Shoji tatamis, tokonoma and sliding partitions were custom-made in Japan.

Restructuration of a 300sqm apartment built in 1930 by the architect Roux-Spitz, also was designed the creation of furniture and carpets.

A farmhouse renovation, dating from the late 1940s, to create a “family house” in the spirit of Arts and Craft where interior elements have been custom-made by local craftsmen. The creation of numerous openings has been designed each time in relation to the gardens and the surrounding countryside.
