We are now presenting the Top 20 Interior Designers Milan to get inspired by:
1. Alfonso Femia
Alfonso Femia first created the 5+1 agency in 1995, a company which evolved into 5+1AA in 2005, and that would eventually be known as Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia. Having a business that has expanded to Genoa, Milan, and Paris, Alfonso has been tackling his architectural projects with the aid of a multidisciplinary team, inspired by the main features of these three locations.
2. Antonio Citterio
Antonio Citterio is an Italian designer mostly known for his collaborations with prestige Italian brands, among them BB Italia. He has made several collections for the brand, most notably the Maxalto collection which was enrichened last year with some more elegant chairs, and seating systems, featuring new range extensions and new finishes.
3. Atelier Biagetti
Atelier Biagetti is a company that consists of the culmination of the work of both Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari. Both Biagetti and Baldassari are currently living and working in Milan, having had an extensive career before fate eventually brought them together to create Atelier Biagetti.
4. Cristina Celestino
Born in Pordenone in 1980, Cristina Celestino worked in several areas of architecture, before finally focusing her attention on interior architecture and design. With that, she moved to Milan in 2009 where she created “Attico”, her own design brand which mainly focused on the conception of lamps and furnishings production.
5. Dimore Studio
Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran invested in the fields of Design, Art, and Fashion, and founded Dimore Studio in 2003. This duo of contemporary designers carried out every project with their own unique signature style: pieces created by historical design master artisans merged with domestic materials and other modified objects to forge a singular atmosphere. Dimore Studio interprets memories and creates dreams, crossing the boundaries between art and design, fashion, and architecture.

6. Giulio Cappelini
Giulio Cappelini is often referred to as an emblematic figure in the design panorama as a whole. Born in 1954, he was deeply involved with design since childhood thanks to his family business. After graduating in Architecture, he immediately launched himself in the family business as well as other international prestige brands.

7. Laura Pozzi
Laura Pozzi created Laura Pozzi Studio in 2003, a business-focused in styling, interior design, set design and photo production. Laura herself has the role of stylist, creative director and executive producer in an interior design firm currently located in Follina, Treviso and in Milan.
8. Ludovica+Roberto Palomba
Ludovica and Roberto Palomba are often referred to as “the golden couple of Italian design” and with a career such as theirs, it’s no wonder. After setting their own studio in Milan in 1994 their career has been through several stages, among them architectural planning, interior design, and partnerships as product designers and art directors.
9. Marco Piva
Marco Piva is another top reference when it comes to Milanese architecture, interior design, and product conceptions. After leading the establishment of Studiodada Associates (one of the most representative companies of the period of Radical Design) the architect opened his studio during the 80s and since then, this firm has been known for handling projects mainly in the areas of architectural interior design, as well as industrial design.
10. Matteo Nunziati
Born in Bologna in 1972, he has currently considered one of the most influential designers and architects that this industry has ever seen. His career started in 2000 when he opened his own interior design studio in Milan and since then, in his projects, he has managed to project the excellence of the Made in Italy design.
11. Matteo Thun
Matteo Thun is a Milan based architect and designer who was born and raised in the bilingual German and Italian speaking region of South Tyrol, Italy. After studies with Oskar Kokoschka at the Architecture University of Florence, he co-founded the “Memphis” group in Milan in 1981 with Ettore Sottsass.
12. Michele De Lucchi
Born in 1951 in Ferrara, Michele de Lucchi began taking his steps in the architecture area after his graduation in architecture in Florence. He has also known for being a weigh figure during the period of radical and experimental architecture, being the designer behind the conception of bespoke furniture pieces for many well-known Italian and European companies.

13. Paola Navone
Paola Navone was born in 1950 in Turin, but despite that Milan ended up becoming her home. After working with Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass and Andrea Branzi in the Alchimia group during the 70s and 80s, she definitely managed to launch herself in the market as an architect, a designer, an art director, and an interior designer.
14. Park Associatti
Park Associatti is an architecture firm created in Milan in 2000 by Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi. Since its creation, this firm has been focusing on giving each of their architectural projects a whole new shape either being a remodeling or a completely new concept.
15. Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo and currently lives in Milan. Between 1990 and 1996 she worked for the development office of new products of “De Padova” and signed with Vico Magistretti the following products: “Flower”, “Loom sofa”, “Chaise” and “Chaise Longue”.
16. Piero Lissoni
Piero Lissoni, currently known as one of the Italian famous interior designers, is quite well known for his contemporary furniture design. After opening the studio Lissoni Associati in 1986 alongside Nicoletta Canesi, he was also recognised for being a collaborator with several famous brands, among them Porro.
17. Rossana Orlandi
Born in 1943 and raised in the town of Cassano Magnago, about 25 miles northwest of Milan, Rossana Orlandi had an education that was simple and quiet. With 20 years of experience in fashion, in 2002 she decided to transfer her passion for design as a private collector into an innovative gallery, a platform where she could showcase her personal idea of design and lifestyle.
18. Stefano Giovannoni
Born in La Spezia in 1954, Stefano Giovannoni is an amazing architect and designer. Currently living and working in Milan, he works as an industrial and interior designer and architect, specializing in plastic products. He has done several projects for brands such as Alessi, Fiat, Mooi, Nestlé, Helit, Henkel, and more.
19. Studio Peregalli
Studio Peregalli consists of a design company made by a famous duo of interior designers. Roberto Peregalli Peregalli and Laura Sartori Rimini are the creative geniuses behind the success of Studio Peregalli. Both of them have worked under the tutelage of the legendary Italian decorator Renzo Mongiardino until his death in 1998.
20. Vudafieri Saverino
Vudafieri-Saverino Partners is a creative atelier whose work ranges from architecture and interior design to retail, hospitality, and restaurant design. Based in Milan and Shanghai, the Studio, founded and run by architects Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino, in its twenty-year career has developed projects in almost every country and continent, always adopting an attentive approach to face the major issues of the contemporary culture, city, landscape, and society.
