Valencia Rug draws on a summer trip to the Spanish city of Valencia, where the heat is dominant and the colours vibrant, translated into neutral tones that warm yellow invades: concentric black lines on a cream ground meet a solid field of colour whose irregular edge breaks into the pattern. Hand-tufted with overtufting in natural wool and botanical silk, this contemporary rug is handmade in Portugal by Rug’Society and belongs to the Classic Collection. Warm yellow is its signature, and the design is also offered in other colours. Colour and shape can be customised through Rug’Society’s Custom service, and the Bespoke service creates original designs from scratch.
