Rugs and interior design<\/em><\/span><\/strong> are more often than not connected, however, we always seem to have that doubt on how to use a rug, where to use a rug, what type of rug for each house division, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We gathered a few decorating tips and ideas on how to best use a rug in ways that will elevate your home decor and give that little extra something we are always on the hunt for!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use Rugs to Define Areas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Use a rug to define or separate areas, such as seating or dining areas, and foyers. This is especially useful in\u00a0studio apartments\u00a0or larger rooms that need definition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t assume that a rug has to be a rectangle. Let the way you group your furniture dictate the shape of your rug. Leaving the floor bare at the edges makes the room look a little larger. Make sure they are wide enough to accommodate both feet on the rug when you walk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add a rug to a room that lacks excitement, and problem solved. While that alone is a good enough reason to decorate with a rug, there are many others just as compelling. You might even say it completes a room by tying all the different items together visually. A rug can anchor a room, define it, add warmth, and help layer a room\u2019s decor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
