Always\u00a0refusing to conceive narrow and closed spaces, he naturally oriented himself towards \u201cbig projects\u201d. Used to taking on challenges that would scare others away, he particularly appreciated being given gigantic spaces in which he would put together different styles and, always in perfect harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After he died, his Studio carried on. Today the Alberto Pinto Studio is considered one of the Top Design Studios in France<\/strong> <\/a>and, by maintaining this status, it has honored Alberto Pinto\u2019s memory and legacy. Currently, the Alberto Pinto Studio is an interior design<\/strong><\/a> and decoration office of 60 people whose domains of intervention cover not only the realization of private residences, office buildings, hotels, but also yachts or private jets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fran\u00e7ois Champsaur was born in Marseille but has been based in Paris<\/strong> <\/a>since the late \u201980s. His Mediterranean roots have influenced his work. Diploma in Fine Arts in Marseille and Arts Decorative in Paris (ENSAD), Fran\u00e7ois Champsaur created his interior design office and furniture design in 1996.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since then, he accumulates prestigious achievements in the restoration area (Caf\u00e9 de l\u2019Alma, in Paris), the hotels (H\u00f4tel Montalembert, in Paris), and fashion (Nina Ricci). Between design and decoration, his work seduces by its ability to thrill while passing the image of an optimistic world. With both vision and discretion, Fran\u00e7ois Champsaur steps back, allowing the space to become a living creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Whether it is architecture, design, or decoration, Agence Nuel likes to go beyond the plastic dimension to conceive projects. They do all kinds of projects like flats, hotels, houses, restaurants, showrooms, events, or tertiary sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Being a lover of arts since a young age,\u00a0Charles Zana\u00a0is a passionate French designer and architect who combines art and technique in every one of his projects. From Paris<\/strong> <\/a>to London<\/strong><\/a>, via Gstaad, Tel Aviv, and Monaco, Zana\u2019s style and expertise are showcased in some of the world\u2019s most beautiful public\u00a0and private interiors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A house in the chic Parisian suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine is a perfect case in point. Zana designs the best spaces for his clients by establishing systems of habitation that they can easily appropriate. His interiors are structured around people, taking every aspect of their lives into account, and he never imposes a style. In this midcentury house<\/strong><\/a> in the suburbs of\u00a0Paris<\/strong><\/a>, it was no different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Christian Liaigre was born in La Rochelle, France in 1943. He studied at the Paris<\/strong> <\/a>Academy of Fine and Decorative Arts and taught drawing at the Academy Charpentier. After spending 10 years as a horse breeder he decided to open a studio in 1987, focusing on interior architecture and furniture design. His first project to win acclaim was the refurbishment of the Hotel Montalembert in Paris in 1988.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Generally speaking, the designer is known due to the fact that he\u00a0designed private residences for such notables as Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, Rupert Murdoch, and Bryan Adams. Christian Liaigre has made himself known by his refined, high-quality work. Through good use of space and light, basing his design on local cultures and traditions, choice of materials, and a special love of arts and crafts.\u00a0According to the words of the designer,\u00a0comfort does not lie in trivial affluence but in delicacy and rareness. Only this designer\u00a0is able\u00a0to combine certain modesty with great elegance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to\u00a0Didier Gomez, he\u00a0practices an art dedicated to well-being. Through his agency DGID, the designer has completed some of the most iconic projects all over the world, including the Caf\u00e9 Roset in Moscow, La Coupole restaurant in the Printemps store in Paris<\/strong><\/a>, the Asia Lounge restaurant in Almaty, and the M\u00e9ridien Montparnasse in Paris, and Jo\u00ebl Robuchon\u2019s Yoshi restaurant in Monaco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Didier Gomez began his career as an opera singer before office out into the world of interior and product design in 1985 with his association and with the architect JJ Ory. His expertise is highly acclaimed. Winner of numerous design awards, he has designed boutiques, large stores, restaurants, apartments, houses, and head offices all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Paris-based interior designer Fran\u00e7ois Catroux\u2019s client list is definitely one of the best in the business. And his successful career granted him fame and recognition. This new book looks at Catroux\u2019s career chronologically, featuring his first projects in 1968, when he opened his Paris office, through his latest, completed only this year, and includes the interiors of houses and apartments around the globe, from Paris<\/strong> <\/a>to New York<\/strong><\/a>, Hong Kong<\/strong><\/a> to Los Angeles. It really shows why Catroux has been the decorator of choice for aristocrats, moguls, royals, and oligarchs alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fran\u00e7ois Catroux is an innovator and explorer in interior design<\/strong><\/a>, who has always been a master of contemporary style. His trademark for contemporary design is mostly the result of being confronted with old interior designs.\u00a0For his designs, Catroux also uses nothing but the best materials. Marbles, fine woods, and opulent upholstery are part of his definition of luxury. From his experiences during his several trips around the world, the designer uses inspiration. His passion for art is also an input.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gerard Faivre, recognized as one of the best contemporary interior designers, created the concept Gerard Faivre Residence, apartments, and luxury properties completely renovated, furnished, and decorated with fully integrated hotel services. To create an original work of art, Faivre imbues himself with the soul of each property. For him, each site is both a blank canvas and a source of inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gilles and Boissier are a team of interior designers<\/strong><\/em> and architects based in Paris<\/strong> <\/a>and working together since 2004. Over the years they have had projects in some of the world\u2019s top capitals and cities. From restaurants to hotels, commercial spaces, and homes, the pair is responsible for a variety of Hakkasan restaurants, La Villa and Mini Palais in Paris, Chachamoon in London<\/strong><\/a>, Buddakan New York<\/strong><\/a>, some of the top Moncler stores around the globe, the Baccarat Hotel in New York and as far as residences go, recently they designed the second home in Paris. The project that they have entitled L\u2019Ature Appartement Paris (The Other Paris Apartment) was recently featured in the Italian Elle D\u00e9cor, which showcased also some of their own furniture and lighting<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Patrick Gilles and Doroth\u00e9e Boissier are opposites that attract. Joyfully engaged in a constant, creative disagreement, they find inspiration: more, it is precisely this ceaseless game of verbal and mental ping-pong that gives form to their ideas. Partners in life and in design, each one has a specific role and style, but together they form a unified whole. If strict lines and a distinctive taste for fine woods can be attributed to Patrick Gilles, Doroth\u00e9e, on her end, has a way with spatial fluidity, colors<\/strong><\/a>, and intuitive elegance. It is this unique approach that has paved their road to success, with commissions all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n India Mahdavi\u00a0was born in T\u00e9h\u00e9ran to an Egyptian mother and an Iranian father. She spent her childhood between the USA, France, and Germany.\u00a0 After being graduated from the Cooper Union and the School of Visual Arts of New York, she built her professional experience at the Christian Liaigre agency. Between 1990 and 1997, she was named art director of the famous French house, and finally, she decided to create her own agency in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Born in 1947, Jacques Garcia showed a talent for drawing objects of art at a young age. At the age of eight, he built and furnished his first structure at his grandparent\u2019s home. Later on, he attended\u00a0a school of interior design<\/strong><\/a> and completed his education in the applied arts. When he finished his education, he began working for a firm of contemporary architects and created the concepts for the interiors of the\u00a0Tour Montparnasse\u00a0in Paris<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Le M\u00e9ridien\u00a0hotels, and the\u00a0Royal Monceau\u00a0\u00e0 Paris. He was also the interior architect for the\u00a0H\u00f4tel Costes\u00a0and Costes restaurants, the\u00a0Hotel Majestic, and the restaurant\u00a0Fouquet\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2006, he redecorated the H\u00f4tel Od\u00e9on Saint Germain in Paris., and he purchased and restored the\u00a0Ch\u00e2teau du Champ-de-Bataille\u00a0in\u00a0Normandy\u00a0and undertook to recreate and update the large\u00a0French formal garden. He also became an avid collector of furniture and royal<\/strong> art objects dispersed after the\u00a0French Revolution. For his achievements, he was named commander of the Order of Arts and Letters, and a Chevalier in the order of the\u00a0L\u00e9gion d\u2019honneur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jaques Grange is without a doubt one of the best interior designers<\/strong><\/em> and decorators in the world. Known for his exquisite style, characterized by a harmony between traditional and contemporary tastes, Grange is one of the very few interior designers<\/strong><\/em> who received a strict, classical education in the field. It is thanks to this background and early experiences that Jacques Grange is able to effortlessly mix the style and elements of different times \u2013 from rococo opulence to contemporary minimalism. He decorated and designed interiors for some of the biggest and most respected personalities and tastemakers. His main customers included Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berg\u00e9, for whom he decorated the Ch\u00e2teau Gabriel, in Benerville-Sur-Mer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jean Nouvel is regarded as one of the world\u2019s most innovative architects. The French architect has built museums, concert halls, conference centers, theatres, hotels, collective housing, office buildings, commercial centers, and private residences all around the world. His company, Atelier Jean Nouvel, is one of the largest architecture practices in France, with over 30 active projects all over the world. Jean Nouvel\u2019s international recognition favored him a\u00a0 number of projects<\/strong><\/a>, currently understudies or in the construction phase. Projects by Jean Nouvel transform the landscapes in which they are built, often becoming major urban landmarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Featured on the ELLE Decor and AD 100 lists of the best interior designers in the world, Jean-Louis Deniot has long been in the business of creating atmospheres. His d\u00e9cors are his playground, spaces where spontaneity and magic are present. Recognized worldwide for his eclectic<\/strong><\/a> and emblematic interiors, Jean-Louis Deniot plays in a multiplicity of repertoires, never sticking to the purity of style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If he does contemporary, it is always with a weighty dose of history and references infused into it to produce a timeless yet timely scenario. Jean-Louis Deniot has lived and breathed interior design<\/strong><\/a> from an early age. Deniot tailors each of his projects to his client\u2019s needs, using his travels for inspiration. His flair for nodding to past time periods and refined color palettes is the reason he has been booked for an endless list of impressive projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Joseph Dirand has built a career on incorporating a quintessentially French style of design into otherwise minimalist interiors. He emphasizes strong lines, classic elements, lighting, rich materials, particularly marble, and the telling detail that brings an interior to life. Amongst his main projects are shop interiors for Alexander Wang, home, hotel, and restaurant interiors in Paris<\/strong><\/a>, New York<\/strong><\/a>, Beirut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the forefront of the international design scene, Mathieu Lehanneur is one of the few designers of his contemporaries who can embrace as many different fields beyond furniture. He innovates with objects and magic architectural structures that breathe design, science, art, and technology. Air, water, sound, and light are his favorite materials to work on. His diploma project at ENSCI \u2013 Les Ateliers entitled \u201cTherapeutic objects\u201d \u2013 is a project on the ergonomics of medicine, which was immediately integrated into MoMa\u2019s permanent collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Patrick Jouin<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>is a designer whose creativity finds an expression in industrial design for the decorative arts. The designer founded his own agency in 1998, in the 11th arrondissement in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Philippe Starck studied at Nissim de Camondo, a private school of Artd\u00e9co located next to Montparnasse in Paris<\/strong><\/a>. At only 20 years of age, in 1969, he becomes the Art director of\u00a0 Pierre Cardin, and designed furniture for him. In 1976, he designs the bar \u201cLa main Bleue\u201d at Montreuil and \u201cLes bains douches\u201d in 1978 at Paris. In 1979, he launched his agency Ubik and would become famous and recognized thanks to the French president Fran\u00e7ois Mitterand that asked him to re-invent the private flat of the presidential palace, the Elys\u00e9e. From that on, the artist would never stop between building design or designing simple daily objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pierre Yovanovitch is an artist. He is using the traditional know-how of the french craftsmen to create unique interiors and pieces made of noble materials such as marble, stone, metals, or copper. The Architectural Digest qualified his work of purely \u201cMade in France\u201d and named him on the list of the 100 best interior designers<\/strong><\/em> on the prestigious AD100 list in 2010. Pierre Yovanovitch was born in 1965 in Nice on the French Riviera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He did not start his career in design but in fashion and worked for the studios of Pierre Cardin between 1990 and 2000 both in Brussels and Paris<\/strong><\/a>. His own agency opened in 2001 under the name of \u201cPierre Yovanovitch, Interior designer\u201d and worked in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Great Britain, Israel, and the USA. In 2016, the agency moves into a private Hotel in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris and opened an office on Madison Avenue in New York<\/strong><\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pierre-Yves Rochon (PYR) was founded in Paris in 1979 to create interior design solutions for luxury hospitality and residential environments. Every aspect of the guest experience is enhanced by the seamless integration of each property\u2019s location, culture, and history with its design. PYR has been entrusted with iconic historic landmarks as well as cutting-edge developments around the world as a direct result of the creative integrity, authenticity, and craftsmanship<\/strong><\/a> they bring to every project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Their\u00a0design achievements deliver award-winning results for major international hospitality brands such as Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, Fairmont, St. Regis, Peninsula, Shangri-La, Sofitel, InterContinental, and numerous boutique hotels. In addition, PYR has created restaurant environments for some of the world\u2019s most innovative chefs, such as Jo\u00ebl Robuchon, Alain Ducasse, Paul Bocuse, G\u00e9rard Boyer, and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Designer Ramy Fischler\u2019s firm RF Studio has recently completed the refurbishing of a duplex apartment in a listed building on Place de Colombie, in Paris\u2019 16th arrondissement, France. Boasting its own garden and street entrance, this exceptional pied-\u00e0-terre is situated in the 1930\u2019s Art Deco residential complex known as the \u2018Walter Buildings\u2019 (named after its architect Jean Walter). Like a skillful magician, Fischler\u2019s artful transformation combines traditional elements with forward-thinking design interventions, creating a multi-layered interior that reinvents the apartment\u2019s history and original aesthetic, firmly rooting it into the present day, as a result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When it comes to interior design<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Sarah Lavoine\u00a0uses similar principles as she does while dressing herself.\u00a0In her design projects, Sarah Lavoine\u00a0never tries to look vulgar and she works the total look. The designer does her best and\u00a0knows how to mix and combine different items. According to her opinion, there is nothing worse than when an entire room \u2013 or worse, an entire house \u2013 is designed with one theme all over.\u00a0Being the ultimate ambassador of a new \u00abart de Vivre \u00e0 la fran\u00e7aise\u00bb,\u00a0Sarah Lavoine\u00a0has a brand new project: an amazing book titled \u00abChez Moi: Decorating Your Home and Living Like a Parisienne\u00bb, where she shares her knowledge in the design field, and teaches us how to get the\u00a0Parisian style\u00a0in our own interiors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sybille de Margerie\u2019s main principles are to be creative with simplicity, to modernize the traditional, to make technology attractive and colors elegant, to design for harmony and to comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAlberto Pinto<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
