Art Basel<\/strong><\/em> are thrilled to have been awarded a seven-year contract to stage a new contemporary and Modern art fair at the prestigious Grand Palais in Paris<\/a><\/strong>. This new worldwide initiative, set to launch in October 2022, will develop linkages with France\u2019s cultural sectors,<\/strong> ranging from fashion and design<\/a> to cinema and music,<\/strong> to produce a major event that radiates across the city and is deeply ingrained in Paris and its cultural landscape.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art Basel Celebrates Paris\u2019 Cultural Heritage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new exhibition<\/a> will first take place at the Grand Palais \u00c9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re, located in the historic center of Paris on the Champ-de-Mars<\/strong>, until the Grand Palais\u2019 renovation is completed in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art Basel Wil Stage Contemporary and Modern Art At Grand Palais de Paris<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Their objective is to develop a new event that brings together artists, collectors, curators, and gallery owners from all over the world,<\/strong> as well as Parisian cultural players beyond the Grand Palais,<\/strong> by merging <\/strong>the history of Art Basel with the cultural legacy of Paris<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art Basel will establish a new French organization and hire a dedicated staff on the ground to accomplish this ambitious new initiative for Paris, as well as engage closely with France\u2019s gallery community and assure them a significant presence in the fair\u2019s Selection Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
