World of Folly was written by the hand of Hunt Slonem. Hunt is an American painter, sculptor, and printmaker. He is well known for his exotic and eclectic works, featured in galleries the world over and in collections at the Guggenheim Museum, The Met, the Smithsonian, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. His work included many important museum collections all over the world. He exhibits regularly at both public and private venues, and he has received numerous honors and awards.

This book is about the Watres Armory, built in 1900–01 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is Slonem’s latest interiors project and will showcase the artist’s novel take on interior design matches vibrant, multicolor interiors with a bricolage of historically potent, rare items found around the world.
